Developed and produced in collaboration with French designer and craftsman, Georges Adda, ALIAN is a site-specific light installation commissioned by Distortion Festival 2019. In a nod to the former landfill now turned festival site, the installation's self-illuminated sculptures evoke its subterranean content. Utilizing prefabricated production jigs, styrofoam, rebar, and concrete, the work was produced on-site with the help of festival volunteers.
